Memorand: at ye Court of ye Manr of Corby holden for Wm.Howard Esq. Lord of the sd Manr by Thomas Dalston Esq. Steward thereof this Twenty first day of January 1702. Came John Reed upon and was Admitted Tenent of a Messuage & Tenement lying at Little Corby within the sd. Manr of ye ducient yearly Rent of four shillings & Eight pence upon the death of Francis Howard Esq. late Lord of ye sd. Manr TO HAVE AND TO HOLD ye same TO HIM & HIS ASSIGNS during the joynt lives of the sd. Wm. Howard & ye sd. John Reed paying therefore ye sd. yearly Rent and doing & performing the all other dues duties & services Due & Accustomd for ye same, He having first secur’d five pounds Ten shillings for his Genll ffine to ye sd. Wm. Howard according to Custome of ye sd. Manr.
